Arlene H. Kucharski has a way of sharing healing practices in story and quip form. She was born in a small hamlet in Pennsylvania, where huge granite rocks gave way to greenfields and mountain views of the Susquehanna River. Her mother, Helen, sewed bandages together for the war effort and her father, Michael Fedorchak, patrolled the streets as a local policeman. Plans to be a nurse got derailed although, upon marrying, Arlene moved to another beautiful area along the Susquehanna River, bringing up four children and enjoying the love of her husband, Eugene, for more than sixty-five years.
I want to thank my caring family and friends who have helped to shape this book into the collection of tears, memories, awe, and inspiration that it is, so that it can make its way to you. AHK
